Title: BioBags Biodegradable Dog Waste Bags, 6 Pack - 210 Bags

Editor Review 1 Bio Bag 6 Pack. Recently rated #1 by Whole Dog Journal! These wonderful dog waste bags are biodegradable and compostable! We think that using biodegradable bags to dispose of dog waste makes good sense because plastic bags litter our streets, backwoods and waterways. Studies indicate that over 100,000 marine animals and 2 million birds die each year from ingesting or being caught up in plastic debris. BioBags use no polyethylene in the production process and are fully certified by the Biodegradable Products Institute to be 100% biodegradable and 100% compostable. Dog friendly and planet friendly because nature knows the difference! Regular Size: 7.9" x 12.6". Quantity: 210 bags in a 6 pack.

Summary: Pooping

Detailed: The poop bags work as advertised. They are relatively easy to use and the bags have a thick feeling to the touch. So, when you pick up the poop, you don't feel like the bag could be leaking. I have a medium sized poodle, so the bags are large enough to collect all his waste and still have room to put a knot in the end. I have not tested the bags to see if they are really biodegradable.

Summary: Product description is wrong - these are the Large 13" x 9.75" size

Detailed: This seller, 'bravofun', has contradictory product descriptions. The title says 6 pack - 210 bags which is correct. The product description says it's the smaller size bags (50 bags/box, 6 pack - 300 bags) which is the size I was looking for. I didn't want to deal with the hassle of returning the product so am just using them but the seller should correct the product description. Again, this is the 13" x 9.75" Large Sized version of the BioBag for dogs, 6 pack - 210 bags total, 35 bags per box.

Summary: Biodegradable Doggie Bags

Detailed: These bags are great and this size is better for larger dogs. I like it that they're biodegradable yet strong - I have never had one break. They're also easy to open. Great product!

Summary: Description has changed

Detailed: Below is the review I wrote for the last time I purchased from this seller. I received the regular sized bags, 50 count per box. I looked at the image and the box looked exactly the same. Unfortunately, the description is wrong. They now send you Large bags and 35 come in a box. I should have noticed. What a bummer.

I love BioBag! I just love that these bags dissolve in landfills. Dogs poop is biodegradable and so should the bag that you dispose of it with. The size of these are perfect for my pug. Easy to tie as I twist it then tie a knot. No smell as I tie it very tight. Also, I remove each bag and individually stuff it in a small pouch attached to my pugs leash. No complaints about this product at all.

Also, this seller is great! Cheapest price on Amazon and ships lightning fast!

Summary: Better than Plastic, but Not Perfect...

Detailed: These bags perform fine as poop picker-uppers, but I strongly prefer the bags on the market that are completely flushable. Biobags bags dissolve in a landfill (unlike plastic), but you've still got a disgustingly smelly, bacteria-ridden trashcan next to your house attracting flies, racoons, etc. A new trashcan with a very tight-fitting lid on the trashcan can prevent some of that, but when you have to crack the lid open to throw away more trash...UGH!

There are several brands of flushable bags on the market, both online and in stores. Most are septic-safe, and flushing means the dog's poo (just like ours) is GONE to be properly treated as sewage, and not left around to stink, attract flies, and contaminate groundwater.

If you buy poo bags, Biobags are definitely a good alternative to plastic. My grocery store carries Biobags, and I still buy them if I let myself run out of flushable bags and can't get to the pet store. But do yourself a favor and try the flushable ones at some point. "Walk The Dog" and "Flusheze" are two brands you can get on Amazon, check your pet store for others.
